Cheyenne Perry; Director and Trainer at Heart of Gold Equestrian. She has a broad background in both English and Western Disciplines ranging from barrel racing, reining, equitation, ranch horse pleasure, western and english dressage, and working cow-horse classes. Her passion is to equip people to become competent horse owners with a great understanding of horsemanship. She has multiple rodeo queen titles and has competed heavily in NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association), BRAT (Barrel Racing Association of Texas), NARC&SP (National Association of Riding Clubs & Sheriff's Possees), WBRA (Word Barrel Racing Productions), THSRA (Texas Highschool Rodeo Association) and other shows and assocations in Texas, Arakansas, and Oklahoma. Cheyenne has been teaching lessons for many years. She has coached AQHA Show Teams, IEA Teams and rodeo teams. She has a passion for horse training as well and has studied under world-class horse trainers.
Gaylen Hoyle grew up in the hunter-jumper community in Oklahoma, showing actively on the A circuit, and has a degree in Equestrian Science from William Woods University. While there, she won the prestigious Woods Equitation Championship, and studied Hunt-Seat, Dressage, and Stock-Seat.
Many of her students have gone on to join the ranks of OSU's Equestrian Team (one winning it's Equitation Championship), and two are working equestrian professionals in the Oklahoma area. Gaylen has a passion for teaching and helping to mold young equestrians into confident riders who are in tune with their horses.
